“I started in Renovations at a very young age. My grandfather was an electrician/ plumber, two of my uncles are carpenters and drywallers and my father is a jack of all trades. I had always had summer work as a young man going to school . After high school, I worked in a few different fields, but I decided to pursue a career in corrections. After my corrections training, I moved to Winnipeg MB for a job opportunity in that field . I quickly learned that it was not for me . While in Winnipeg, I started my own renovation company with only $150 to my name! Not knowing where to start, I went online, downloaded a business card and printed off 1000 copies. I walked from house to house handing out my flyer. That was 8 years ago. Wanting to be back home in Nov Scotia, I finished up a renovation I was working on then headed back home. I built my business, hired two really great employees and we have been turning out great projects ever since.”
